Praises of Mary

[REFRAIN]
Praises of Mary I sing aloud
Virgin with purity you are crowned
Like Aba Ephrem give your blessing
Call me to praise you O my lady

[VERSE 1]
In the morning prayers
As we sing melodies
The virgin visits us
In the sanctuary
A carpet made of light
Layed in front of Mary
St. Ephrem perseveres
To honor our lady

[REFRAIN]
Praises of Mary I sing aloud
Virgin with purity you are crowned
Like Aba Ephrem give your blessing
Call me to praise you O my lady

[VERSE 2]
Father Hiryakos too
Sends his praise unto her
The hymns of liturgy
Mesmerizing they were
My heart has overflowed
With a good word of praise
Like David and his harp
I will sing all my days

[REFRAIN]
Praises of Mary I sing aloud
Virgin with purity you are crowned
Like Aba Ephrem give your blessing
Call me to praise you O my lady

[VERSE 3]
Mother the foundation
Of our purity
So I can sing to you
Grant me humility
Virgin Mary rejoice
Bethlehem of our Lord
You've given birth to Him
The Savior of the World

[REFRAIN]
Praises of Mary I sing aloud
Virgin with purity you are crowned
Like Aba Ephrem give your blessing
Call me to praise you O my lady

[VERSE 4]
The saints in the heavens
Surrounded and honored
Father Giyorgis sings
Come to me my mother
On a throne made of gold
I have seen your glory
I am taken away
By your love my Lady
